1)      Update your printer drivers:-

For updating your printer driver, go to the official website of the make of printer and search with the help of the printer’s model number and download it.

2)      Re-install your USB composite device:-

If your USB composite device is damaged or corrupt then also your printer not work properly and shows you an error. So, reinstall the USB composite device to fix this issue. Follow the below-given steps to do so:
·         First of all, disconnect the printer from your system.
·         Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open run dialogue box.
·         Now, enter devmgmt.msc in Run dialogue box and press Enter button.
·         After that, the Device Manager Window will be open successfully.
·         Navigate to Universal Serial Bus Controllers, and select USB Composite Device.
·         Now, right-click on the USB composite device and tap on the Uninstall device option.
·         After that, a pop-up window will open, tap on Uninstall.
·         Now, connect your printer with the computer. You get a pop-up message saying Found new hardware. So, go through the on-screen instruction for installing the required driver.
·         Check for printer not activated error code 30 will be resolved now.

3)      Set your printer as default:-

It may be possible that you installed many printers on your computer but your printer is not set as default, so you also get this error. Follow the below-given steps:
·         Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open run dialogue box.
·         Enter Control Panel in the Run box and press the Enter button.
·         Now, the Devices and Printers window will be open.
·         Search and select your printer, right-click on it and choose Set as default printer.
·         Now, print a paper to test for printer not activated error code 30 will be resolved.

4)      Install window updates:-

If any printer updates available to install from Windows Updates then the drivers may not work properly until they install. So, install this update to fix the problem.
·         Press Window key + I to open the Settings window.
·         Tap on Update & Security option.
·         Now, tap on Check for updates.
·         If it found anyone then it will install them.
